Show HN: Share sessions between Codex and Claude Code (and more)

I’ve been switching a lot between Claude Code and Codex, and losing context was painful.

So I built AI Sessions MCP, a small local MCP server that lets any client search and read your local CLI sessions so you can start in one agent and pick up where you left off in another.

It’s local-only, and reads the session files already on disk for Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Gemini CLI, and opencode. It lists sessions, supports searches, and opens full transcripts (paged).

I’d love any feedback on how you’d use it. Contributions for additional adapters are welcome!
