Does this include the lifetime costs of need to replace the panels? Also batteries though I'd imagine that is a separate. But the panels would seem to be direct additional costs.
Of course. That's the major cost (along with inverters and mounting and installation). If you didn't include that, if you just looked at operating costs, solar would be insanely cheap, far cheaper than any other source.
