Ask HN: Has anyone heard from OpenAI about their Grove application?

Haven’t received any emails from OpenAI about my Grove application and was curious if they are even going to notify us if we weren’t accepted. The signup was borked the first 24hrs but I never received any email receipt my application was received despite the application form saying it was successfully submitted once it was fixed. I’m disappointed the rollout for this program has been so rocky. It certainly doesn’t inspire confidence that Grove will be executed well.

nope - haven’t heard of anyone hearing back

the in person first week and last week part is making me have to hold off on flights for 2 family weddings I have to appear in too, since I don’t know if i’ll be flying from SF or not.

The program is supposed to start a week from Monday so it’s just disrespectful to make everyone who applied (probably 10s of 1000s) hold up their plans because if this

I still don’t see a single mention on Linkedin, X, HN, OpenAI’s news page or Reddit.

Something isn’t right.

I signed up, but the odds of someone funding my ideas are slim to none.
