"The field, they argue, has discovered little of importance in the last 50 years, because it is dominated by groupthink and silences anyone who dares to dissent from mainstream ideas, like string theory."

Anyways, here's an article that spends every last breath trying to malign, dismiss, and ostracize people who dissent from mainstream ideas.

The science ecosystem is plagued with fraudulence, parasites, and entrenched haplessness (academic glut.)

I often find well intended, funded, and resourced studies absurd flatulence in conclusion, for identifying and extrapolating the wrong questions.

We need the troll/cannibal troll dynamic along side other vigorous debate strategies in our market place of ideas.
