I would pay a lot of money to be in the room when he’s convincing investors to give him unimaginable fortunes. To me, a normal person, Altman sounds exactly how my mental model of a charlatan would. I’m incredibly curious what other people hear.
Weird to see this called an “excellent conversation”. As the comments on the article indicate, the conversation was just like any other Sam Altman conversation. Evasive, uninteresting, and just sort of sleazy.
