A while ago, I was wondering if I should buy a home. Then I tried to understand how mortgage loan work, and what the interest rate represents.

A few hours later, this (static) web app was born. It's a glorified calculator that allows you to answer two questions:

- how much interest will I pay in addition to the principal (the amount being borrowed).

- Whether I should buy my home or keep renting.

Great post! It also depends on where you live. Some cities have crazy real estate prices and it’s growing super fast. Would be great if we could see the results vary depending on the countries /cities!
