Most of the companies I have seen in SillyCon Valley solve this problem by not hiring any black people.

It's still racist but with less confrontation.

If you want to know why just go to a bunch of venture capital websites, click on the 'About Us' link and browse the pictures. They will be 85% white and 15% Asian and Indian.
