But it’s the solar powered charger at the Ngumban Cliff rest stop that was truly impressive. Surrounded by red dirt and totally off grid, this is an epic engineering feat.
The photo of this is really cool. I’d not considered off-grid EV charging before, but it makes a bunch of sense when compared to fuel. No point in continuously lugging tankers of petrol to remote places if you can do a one-and-done charger build.
