Hey HN,

Companies need to make a lot of video content, and after talking to a bunch of them, most either rely on CapCut or have an internal team editing videos in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve. The problem is that CapCut isn’t really built for businesses. Most of their templates and assets work great for individual creators, but in a company context, you don’t really use splashy transitions or meme templates.

We talked to a lot of social media managers about their workflows, and the same problems kept coming up: captions that don’t line up, cutting silences takes forever, resizing videos for each platform is a pain, and even just creating a first draft of a project takes way too long.

So we built Rendley (https://rendley.com), a video editor made specifically for companies, that takes all that feedback into account. It works right in the browser, syncs everything in the cloud, and is fast and intuitive. We launched about two weeks ago, and we’ve got a bunch of new features coming soon.

We also have a free tier with no watermark, so you can try it out without limitations.

We built it on our own infrastructure (https://rendleysdk.com) and used React.js for the frontend. We’ve done a lot of optimizations to make sure it runs well even on older devices. If you want more technical details about how it works, I can share those too.

If you have any questions about the product or any feedback, feel free to write them below, and I’ll be more than happy to answer them.
