Hi HN, I’m Paulo. I’ve spent the last 6 months building Shopie, an iOS app that lets you save products you’re interested in and get notified when prices drop or items come back in stock. It runs entirely on-device using iOS background tasks, requires no account, and stores all data locally (or in iCloud if enabled). It’s been useful for finding real deals and avoiding impulse buys.
