you can hide a fair bit with ublock origin, if you dont mind using old.reddit

  old.reddit.com##.link:has-text(/Trump|MAGA/i)
  old.reddit.com##.link:has(a[href*="foxnews.com"])

although i have hundreds of these filters and its still not great, but its better than nothing
