Ripped off by Google? Places API

I vibe coded a home search tool that used google places. It made a little over 20k requests to their api overnight, which according to their estimator [1] should be about $150. My bill is $673

I made a ton of nearby searches, but their pricing [2] indicates that I barely got past their free tier

This isn't going to kill me, but I'd rather spend this money on my family. Anybody know if I could upgrade to a pro plan or contest this in any way?
