Eventually, it will be paid placement in responses. A modern Google search.

i guess the question is, have they gotten enough people to completely move from Google to Chat GPT, or will people slowly move back to the convenience of being able to query directly from the address bar? Will OpenAI build a browser? Will there be a bidding war for default “search” on iPhones?
