I beg to differ. We are not resilient. We consistently refuse to acknowledge and take action on items of critical importance: Leaded gasoline Forever chemicals Climate change

It’s not that we don’t know, it’s that we choose to suppress our knowledge of uncomfortable or unprofitable truths.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see the end of humanity in my lifetime. I’d be utterly shocked to learn we’d survived the next 100 years.
