I wanted to share with you my side project - a browser extension called Browse Bot.

It’s an intentionally simplified AI assistant designed to act as a smart layer on a web page for the user.

It can handle on-page interactions (summaries, UX fixes, information extraction) and low to middle difficulty agentic-like tasks (multistep shopping research, data consolidation). Helps you stay in context and speed up browsing experience.

Available for Chrome and Firefox, no account or personal details needed. Works with multiple providers, including OpenRouter, OpenAI, Ollama, LM Studio.
