I can't shake the feeling of being spoken to by Gríma Wormtongue. It's just the way Sam talks. The words and phrases he chooses. So much tortured persuasion in all he says.
omg yes and it is totally 1000% fake. He's using "Vocal Fry" to sound like the weirdo he is. (google vocal fry if you have not heard of it.... Teen girls this manner of changing their voice back in the 0'10s. His version is even more intense like he swallowed a broken motor boat.
