You might wanna give Bitwig a try, it’s one of the best commercial DAWs available on Linux. You can record live loops, similar to Ableton (it was originally built by ex-Ableton developers)

I have almost switched over to Bitwig now :D

But I still miss the ease of LoopyPro on iPad.
