Since we're on door handle memory lane, I was a huge fan of used Volvos when I was in my 20s, had a 740 and an 850. I loved the trigger 740 handle and the 850s whole handle pull. I'm sure they were complex and expensive to replace, but if it's made right the first time you won't have to. I had over 200k on the Volvo before I sold it which it felt like the same car I bought 6y ago.
