Are there just better competitors out there? I don't know anything about EVs. I just thought that their FSD is the best in the industry and can auto pilot basically anywhere and no other car can do that.

If it can't actually do that then the marketing is good and has a lot of people convinced of that.

Either one, or both, seems like a better explanation than cult mentality for a cap that big. No?

Edit: I just checked the charts, they are shipping more EVs in the US than all other brands combined. 60-80% of all EVs sold are Teslas, every quarter. I guess I'm really shocked that anyone would call that pumping. I must really be out of the loop on investment in the auto industry.

Waymo Driver 6 works. Level 4 automation, in commerce. Mercedes and BMW have level 3 driver assist, in contrast with Tesla at level 2. Do you know a meme stock P/E ratio when you see one?

Waymo doesn't sell cars and their tech only drives on trained routes, from what I'm reading. I'm not sure I follow how they fit in here.

Now searching from your commentary on MB and BMW the first result indicates that they dumped their level 3 and will move to licence Tesla FSD instead.

You didn't know about that it seems. I didn't either. Does it change your mind at all about the tech?
