"...Commerce Department said the deceleration in GDP, which grew at a 4.4% rate in the third quarter, was the result in a pullback in consumer spending and exports, as well as the impact from the government closure..." Funny how everyone seems to focus on the government closure "Economic Growth Slowed in Fourth Quarter, Hurt by Government Shutdown" and hardly mentions the consumer spending pullback. Don't you dare mentioning the "T" word...
