Ask HN: I've started using Coolify, any recommendations?

Hello,

I've been working on many projects lately, so I've reached my limit on free services and don't want to pay anymore. Therefore, I purchased a VPS with Hetzner and started using Coolify.

Currently, I'm using: - Umami for analytics - Cloudflared for IP masking

But I'd like to take advantage of all their benefits. If anyone else is using them, I'd like to know what they're using.

Nice stack so far. Coolify + Hetzner is a solid combo once you start consolidating services.

Since you're already self-hosting Umami, you might also want to look at UXWizz. I built it, and it fits the same privacy-first, self-hosted model but adds session recordings and heatmaps on top of basic analytics. It runs fine on a small VPS and keeps you off the recurring SaaS treadmill, but it does have a one-time cost, as it comes with support too. You can use the docker-compose to set it up, and also learn more about Coolify while doing so: https://docs.uxwizz.com/installation/docker/via-docker-compo...

Coolify has been refreshingly nice to use for me too. My few -

1. Bugsink to replace sentry

2. Trying to figure an otel friendly observability stack with multi tenancy, but clickstack and signoz both feel painful to setup and manage as coolify projects.

3. Next up on my radar is uptime kuma too.

These are nice, but I don't really think I need them since I'm mostly working on small projects.
