Grandparent was specifically pointing to women's rights as a reason to invade Iran and overthrow their government. I was asking why we never hear such things against Saudi Arabia, a country that is comparatively misogynistic. My point is that the invasion of Iran isn't coming from any good intentions for its people. The United States have shown times and times again that they are fine with dictatorships, as long as the dictator in question grants them privileged access to whatever they may desire. Hell, they've even created dozens of dictatorships accross the world, sometimes even overthrowing democracies.
