Full disclosure: I work for Energy Micro, but I found this story really great. Probably very few of you know that AVR (now Atmel Norway), Chipcon (now Texas Instruments), Nordic Semiconductors and Energy Micro are all from Norway and they are major players in the internet of things / appcessory space. It's a 5 million country with bright engineers and great hardware entrepreneurs. Silicon Fjords FTW! :)
