Unpopular opinion but I hope this does go through. It's currently a duopoly, with over 100% of FCF going to the top 2 carriers (yes, over 100%). Smaller carriers can't compete as they don't have the money to spend on R&D. By nixing the merger/acquisition, it's the equivalent of guaranteeing a duopoly for the future. Would welcome any view that contradicts this though - I've still got a lot to learn about this industry.
