It's pretty clear most of the commenters here have never been poor, but instead look at everything from their startup bubbles. And no, I'm not talking about the self-induced poverty where you put money in your own company, and you eat noodles every day for 2 years.

I've been poor, and yea, I'd totally see people going that way to get a sofa, just to feel like a bloody normal family. One less thing to think about. Sounds whack, but that's how it is.
