Agreed. It's actually much worse, because the ruling native elite in India think of themselves as being more related to the British culturally than to India itself!

This kind of mind-warping can only happen in the land of the Yoga :D

I'm actually sad that India had more academic achievements in early 20th century British India than in the latter part under the "Republic". Famines did decrease though, and that's arguably more important.
