on: I am a heroin user. I do not have a drug problem
> Hart reports that more than 70 percent of drug users—whether they use alcohol, cocaine, prescription medications, or heroin—do not meet the health criteria for drug addiction.
I don't think it's about health criteria. It's about whether you want to add yet another item to things you depend on just to feel normal.
Also, the need is a symptom of a real issue that needs to be addressed instead of just numbed and berried i.e., unhappy at a job or a situation etc that needs to be addressed.

on: How the US Legalized Corruption
I'm not sure that this is a function of being white. It's a function of being a corrupt individual.

on: Laser-Guided Lightning May Help Prevent Wildfires
Will we ever learn that tampering with nature isn't good in the long run? We keep build systems, organizations, and structures that aren't naturally robust, then we try to bends nature's will to maintain our creations. If a wildfire breaks out, it was the most optimum event to balance natures equilibrium.

How have they narrowed down billions generated down to 1/10 of a billion or $0.6B, when what the definition or "art" is not set in stone?

on: Show HN: A simple, proactive link reminder for links you'd like to see again
You're right. I honestly haven't seen maillist until after I began working on Esgy. Maillist seems like a good solution too.

on: Start with a Website, Not a Mobile App
That's because Apple and Google are doing everything in their power to keep apps tied to their app stores. If they wanted to they could make progressive apps runs as smooth as native apps tomorrow by enabling better native integration, but they won't.

on: Show HN: Esgy – Easily remind yourself of links you'd like to see again
Thanks for informing me regarding the PP and TOS, I didn't know this. Regarding links, they don't disappear once sent, but I'm currently working on being able to delete links.
If I understand you correctly regarding time between links, you can (even though this feature is not publicized) set custom delays for when links are mailed. Example: es.gy/2d/{url} would remind you of the link 2 days later. You can also do es.gy/2w/, 3w, 11w, etc for x weeks later. Same goes for 1m, 2m, etc for x months later ...
