Does anyone know of that Adobe post and JS script to equalize the line length of text for aesthetic purposes? I remember if one line was full div width and the next line was only a couple words, it would insert line breaks to try to make both lines closer in width to one another.

Thanks for sharing your findings on downloading things from YouTube.

I tried writing a script to download videos with specific tags and convert them to MP3s a few months ago and found getting the videos off YouTube was the hardest part by far.

I think my favorite example of "useful information now" is Google Now.

I love how when I search for a place on Google Maps, my phone or tablet assumes I want to go there soon and gives me a driving time estimate and an option to start navigation.

I also find it very useful when my web searches and linked accounts are taken in context: searching for a flight brings up the flight details on the day of the flight, and Google Now automatically pulls up my daily upcoming events so I don't forget.

Could you help me figure out how to change my top bar color? I can't seem to find the option.

DaemonXI | 15 years ago | on: Ask HN: How should I start on a social campus food website?

The big things I want this to do that Urbanspoon doesn't would be to rate dining halls in addition to restaurants and to find very specific walking distances from certain residence halls on campus. I am kind of basing my idea on Urbanspoon, but with more of an individual college focus.

I'll take a look at campusfood, thanks!

Nook is rootable because it uses Android, which lets it read RSS feeds and such via Trook.

And ePub is a big deal if you plan to get books anywhere but the B&N/Amazon bookstores.

Color touchscreen is also nice.

I'd be interested if he had given me a reading from the book. I don't understand exactly what he's selling me - a cool version of a Dummies book, perhaps?
