LaunchRock needs better compliance with CAN SPAM, perhaps double opt-in integration with a email marketing platform like MailChimp, AWeber, et. al. It should also have an option for unsubscribing, even with the automatically generated email. And at least a basic privacy policy integration that complies with Google AdWords.. because traffic doesn't just magically appear on your launch page.

Great idea, but without venture funding this is a tough operation to scale. With such low barriers to entry for this market, other local markets can easily replicate this model if it is indeed successful.

Um, perhaps because they're a little overly strict on what you can keep in there.

I think it's just the vocal minority here voicing their opinion. Franze you mention all great points with data to back it up (I've noticed the same fwiw).
WRT to SEO, anonymity, posting on your feed and notifications.. FB comments are crawlable, You can still remain anonymous with FB comments (sign-in with a yahoo account, etc.) and you can skip posting it on your feed and I've been notified everytime someone has liked/replied to a comment I've made using Facebook comments. More so than Wordpress, who wants to subscribe to a popular author and constantly get notifications throughout the day whenever anyone makes a comment??

I noticed that csshat isn't very usable. It generates a lot of code that is hard to edit and further customize.. anyone notice anything different for css3ps?

ie. Just because Facebook hasn't implemented a feature, doesn't mean you should start a company over said feature. You may pickup a quick paycheck, but many won't survive the long run.
