on: Why OpenBSD Rocks
Take a look at GhostBSD while you're at it.
I wouldn't recommend OpenBSD for normal day-to-day usage....

on: A Self-Repairing Electric Scooter: Exactly What Lime and Bird Need
tl;dr:
1. Has many sensors, will stop the circuit if the damage-level is critical.
2. Improved BMS and other circuits help for its "low maintenance" claim
3. More modular, so adjustable according to local laws.
4. Powerful motor, not used to its limit = better efficiency
Still in development. Will come weather-tested and is rock-solid.

on: Google's cross-platform Flutter UI toolkit goes 1.0
I'm currently using it as an hobby for creating simple UIs.
It's actually pretty easy, and it feels more like a newer QML kind-of language.
And I like Dart's syntax, coming from a C/Java world.

on: Microsoft and Docker team up to make packaging cloud-native applications easier
The "installing" part is the problem here.
I installed Manjaro XFCE in my parents' old PCs, and they're now enjoying it. They never did it because they didn't know how to and didn't want to destroy their already working, but slow PC.
Teach that, and I'm pretty sure everyone would love the customizability that the world of Linux provides.

I'm confused as to say it good or bad. It can used for both.

on: Broadcom unveils $121B 'best and final' offer for Qualcomm
I don't think it's a good idea to do it, at least for now. You know, for all the stuff going on in Qualcomm.
Pretty nice article.

on: SVG-based image lazyloading as a matter of enjoyable UX
For some reasons, it doesn't work for me.
It's quite interesting though, will give it a try sometime. Thanks :)
