on: Using Cloudflare on your website could be blocking RSS users
In any case, it blocks German Telekom users. There is an ongoing dispute between Cloudflare and Telekom as to who pays for the traffic costs. Telekom is therefore throttling connections to Cloudflare. This is the reason why we can no longer use Cloudflare.

Could this handle more than two databases with this technique or would it generate the mentioned loop when a third database sends the data to multiple databases?

That was a concern in Germany from day one. The TÜV doesn‘t allow sharp edges.

on: Ask HN: Do tools like Copilot or ChatGPT4 help you code?
I use ChatGPT 4 with the GitHub plugin, so it "knows" what I am talking about. I let it writes some tests for me.

Looks like a wooden cutting board to me tbh. A pizza wouldn’t have those light reflexes, but oiled wood does.

This is a good example for what ChatGPT does: It makes shit up and presents it in a compelling format. You should always keep this in mind when trying to get information on a subject you are not familiar with yourself.
I use ChatGPT daily, but always specify the information I want formatted. (In bullet points, a table or for example a news article.)

As a European "The Land of the Free" is the funniest contradiction I've ever seen. As a teenager and young adult I loved to visit the US (NYC & LA) and everything seemed amazing. These days, I avoid the USA like I avoid North Korea and Russia. Of course, we have also huge problems here, but we seem to be more aware of them. And that helps immensely to bring about improvements.

I had hoped for a comparison of how quickly news events appear on the news sites. But the comparison would only show who copy-pasted the fastest and not who researched the best.
I find the speed of page views even more meaningless. ;)

Call on your government to end the war. Immediately. That seems much easier than working down your list, because it will grow longer with each day of this invasion.
