We released an app around march

http://www.bitsabound.com/GlutenFreeRecipes-Windows-Phone-7....

There have been sales but not a lot which is expected given its a niche total sales are still sub 3 digits.

Development tools and development itself is awesome and I can say that given that I've apps for iPhone as well.

I use a WP7 device for daily use and it hasn't disappointed me for any use expect maybe that skype is still not available and MS has let carriers have too much control.

thanks don't know how to add transparency gradient. haven't really thought about whether I should keep selling it doesn't cost me anything to keep the site up, though I may add a link on it somewhere mentioning source code being available.

ReadyNSet | 14 years ago | on: Destroy the Planet: Buy Organic

throughout history we consumed organic and we were fine so the by experimentation we know organic produce is generally safer (if handled cleanly).

GMO on the other hand maybe causing many things (jury is still out) and we won't know that for a while probably so I wouldn't risk the entire human population just so that we can have more food which kills us rather than enough food which sustains us.

and comments on that forum have listed that organic can have enough/comparable yields just that its labor intensive sounds like a job creation plan no body is mentioning :)

ReadyNSet | 15 years ago | on: The mother of all Android malware has arrived

There is one thing everyone is missing, Apple does have a process of verifying the identity of the author even if there was a malware that was slipped in it is easy to identify the author and report to authorities that in itself is a good deterrent against trying. remember malware writers want low hanging fruit first and and Android extremely ripe for it.

and google never published that percentage until iAd came around.

ReadyNSet | 15 years ago | on: Nokia Plan B

Well all you want is Nokia's $billion to spend however you want and at the end of the day if you couldn't make it you'll just stand up dust your hands and move on. if the Plan is so good you can take MeeGo which is open source or heck even Android and make the best phone/OS/EcoSystem out there surely you wouldn't have any problem attracting VC funding would you?

ReadyNSet | 15 years ago | on: The Next Six Months

compatibility has been pretty good, so unless you were to target an app with specific new features it wouldn't affect much.

ReadyNSet | 15 years ago | on: The Next Six Months

only reason Apple announced six months in advance was the the FCC approval process, being public the iPhone would've been out in any case whether Apple announced or not.

ReadyNSet | 15 years ago | on: White House initiative to encourage entrepreneurship

Where can I line up to collect the cash :) seriously the proposals from fairtax.org will go a long way towards encouraging entrepreneurship along with single payer health care but both are politically too risky for any govt.

ReadyNSet | 15 years ago | on: Microsoft Shipped 2 Million Units of Windows Phone 7 Software Last Quarter

I've one :) got because of BOGO deal. Samsung Focus's screen is awesome the SuperAMOLED really shows anyone who sees it really likes the screen and that includes iPhone and Nexus owners and others.

Marketplace really is not there, the apps are junk and even the marketplace app itself is slow to load on cellular connections and it really shows. the search is pathetic it seems they intentionally show you the songs along with apps even if all I want is apps

MS needs to update the OS and they need to do it fast and frequently otherwise in next six months to year they'll be out of this game forever
