People honestly use GoDaddy for anything other than domain names? NEVER use the same company to host your DNS as you registered your domain with. At that point you're pretty much putting all your eggs in one basket.

No, it does not. It's what the application DOES that sells the app. I can almost guarantee you that you would sell more if you didn't have such an ugly (in my opinion) UI. I bought MotionX because it was only $0.99. A few weeks later I stopped using it because I could not stand to look at the UI any longer. Now I'm just back to using the Maps app that comes with the iPhone despite it not having turn-by-turn directions.

Incorrect, I've gotten pings of less than 1 millisecond from over the internet.

I wouldn't say security is impossible, but it isn't worth the time and effort some companies put into it.

For example, Apple could stop putting 30 pin connectors on the iPhone, replacing it with only a power port to charge the device, then sandbox the rest of their apps on the phone (currently every jailbreak involving a vulnerability had to do with the fact that Apple doesn't sandbox their own applications like they do with third party applications.)

Of course you could argue that you could take the device apart and hook up leads to the circuitry in an attempt to flash the device, but you're going to stop over 99.9% of the jail breaking community from jail breaking their devices.

RyanKearney | 14 years ago | on: Apple, It’s Time To Block iOS 5 Beta Users From Reviewing Apps

All the effort developers are putting into complaining about people on iOS 5 Beta leaving negative reviews could better be spent testing and fixing their app for iOS 5.

Are you going to complain when iOS 5 goes live and your app still isn't ready because you stayed up until 2am writing that blog post rant instead of ironing out that last bug?

Even if Apple blocks iOS 5 devices from leaving reviews, you can still leave a review through iTunes.
