My university is actually changing the major to Python for the first 3 courses, and then switching over to C++ for the remainder of the program. With our languages class still using Scheme and having to learn an additional 2 scripting languages. Sadly, I took the curriculum when the beginning and through most of it was Java. I guess I just get to learn it on my own then :)

I agree with this. Not only that, but isn't the whole reason game ratings are on the games, so that parents can know the intended audience for the game without knowing about it?

It's the parents responsibility. Plain and simple.

More than likely if the parents don't care if the children play it, odds are they're not doing a lot of things as a parent. It's not the responsibility of the government to become parents. Look at the mess they've made trying to do that with other things that obviously don't work, the drug war for instance.

Thank you! I've actually already created a personal web site with my resume and projects I've done while having my own business while in school that showcases the number of projects I started / worked on.

Your advice on why I made the design and programming choices for certain projects is something I didn't put much thought into. Thank you for that insight as I'll use that to be better prepared for my interviews.
