Since you mentioned Nier: Automata, I'll just add that I've been playing it with proton for the past 2 weeks. I'm at ~20 hours of playtime and it's been flawless so far (without resorting to any 3rd party patch like FAR).

I store my text notes on Dropbox, using various subfolder layers. The android app allows both creation and editing of .txt files.

I've also recently started using iA Writer, on Win 10 and Android. The program is solid to a fault and extremely well designed, with the flexibility of saving .md files that you can save and export everywhere. Highly recommended!

Don't be dense. Not everyone has the technical skills to decide which is the best app to message others. People just go with the popular ones or the ones their family/friends use.

That's exactly what I do. I only use messenger.com and the fb messenger app. My friends warn me when there's something of interest on one of our college groups, but apart from that I don't go to the main site at all.

No system is perfect. Remember Heartbleed? Microsoft released a patch to correct this particular issue in March, however the IT infrastructure in companies is slow, the whole process is convoluted, yada yada.

The point is: the NSA caused this particular problem. Steps should be taken be everyone to ensure something like this doesn't happen ever again.
