I remember the long faces, when i took my programming class through the introduction of floating points to the windows calculator- and they realized that this thing makes mistakes- (x/(9^64))*(9^64) != x

And then the dawning realization, what fights the future would hold for them...

May i point out, that this is a excellent moment to completely and utterly trust the holy st. market to fix itself. After all its a state controlled market economy, attacking a free market economy, it can not win. Be strong in your faith in the market brother. Your doubts times of tests of prevents salvation.

It is as long as the state/ IPs do not have identity on every connection. It can even then be subverted, if somebody lets another user piggyback on that connection.

The question is how can academia be cleansed of the biases? Secession of the scientific faculties from the unscientific? I think its not possible to make a "safe space" without politics and publics for research. So the only way to archieve a equality is to have funding be totally independent from political "standing". It must be voted in by anonmyous Scientists, based upon the quality of cross-faculty-peer-reviewed process that generated it. I wonder how much this censor-ship has damaged the left cause actually. Imagine if a ethnic group of equal intelligence (I firmly believe that any group can bring forth high intelligence- or if it could not should be enabled too for mankinds benefits) inherited a stress activated gene that allowed for a prolonged "zombie" mode upon crisis and conflict. To not search a cure for that gene, would be a unbearable crime.

The problematic part comes, when the research on this would be only represented as a "fact" of gods design and not a call to action aka a research for a remedy.

TL,DR; Anybody screaming for In-Action, is on the wrong side in science. Explore all the allys!

Ah, the good old times, when the cost of creativity wasnt so astronomically high. If you wanted to risk something, you would just take some time of the working-charts and do it, letting the team then vote on results. No- push your idea in front of the high council, no guiding whats left of it along the pipeline, you just wrote the dialogue, scripted the mission, reused some existing assets, and polished it till it was accepted.

Those where the days.

Truth has stopped beeing the tamed animal that the news-manufacturer knew it to be. You told it what to be, and it jumped through the hoop and became half-reality by the masses believing.

What your hear is the whining for power decentralized away. And those calling for censorship, demand to reinstate it, so they can have it. Those not debunking fake news, but declaring unproofable conspirarcys at work, want to shirk the work or have something to win, when the truth is not found out.
