My work centers on examining and modifying existing VPN and tunneling implementations to understand and validate how they behave across real ISP environments, especially under filtering, blocking, and non-ideal mobile network conditions.
I routinely work with large open-source codebases such as OpenVPN, WireGuard, SoftEther, and Psiphon, focusing on handshake flow, SNI placement, CDN-based fronting, and traffic visibility rather than application UI or product features.
My approach is empirical and hands-on: packet-level inspection (TLS / HTTP / WebSocket), controlled test setups, and direct validation on live networks using tools like Wireshark.
I engage selectively in short-term, scoped technical work where clear observation, practical modification, and explanation of real network behavior are required. I am not seeking full-time roles.
