But you don't understand the fact that this is how modern relationships work.

Internet and texting is where everything happens these days and you can't force your understanding of the world on your kids.

In this day and age, how can anyone even begin to have a relationship without being able to contact them when you want to? It is not something fancy, it's a basic necessity if you want your kid to not turn out a social pariah.

In most European countries, a third party is never involved in the tax filing process. The tax agency sends you a prefilled form that you just have to approve in most cases.

Also, all tax records in my country used to be public until recently and I think even now that information is somewhat easy to get.

Why not just use something like jira or trello at that point? Having to remember the color associations for subtasks physically seems a bit too much for me. Also, software is something you can access from anywhere and you don't have to be in one single place.

Anything unsolicited is spam irrespective of how good or useful the content is. The website says "I won't spam you", so I kinda assume that my email is only used for notifications.

When we talk about signatures on PDF, it's almost always explicitly about eSignatures and certificates. I doubt a photo of your physical signature is legally enforceable anywhere without a proper certificate and an audit trail.
