Issues of privacy, and the right to be wrong is atmost important and I think with facebook/mysapce/twitter it makes your life totally accountable to atleast 300+ friends, if not more.
On the basic topic - Ok for a ceo to be on facebook ? >> Well if your ok to the scrutiny of your peers, pals and foes alike then what the hell ? Upload and let the world know. But remember you lost your right to be wrong.

99.9% of the time , I doubt if engineering has a say - who takes the project. The failure of the project according to me , is when biz guys decide which firm/person gets the project depending on the cost !

- The US wireless market is one of the most expensive for the consumer. - Competition has been highly limited - with extremely high barriers for entry. - The prepaid market ( a hit in many places) world over is nearly non-existent here. The prepaid market is a very disloyal non-forgiving market for the service provider but extremely sensible for the consumer.
I am curious what are the changes needed to improve the state of the wireless telcomm business ?

I think the mushrooming of such vast numbers of Management and Tech Institutes reflects the aspirations of the generation. Considering India's population , its apt that we have such large number of tech / mgmt learning centers. Yes even though they are not of worthy "ivy league" quality. Imagine if we had large numbers of "Institute of philosophy & history " - what would we do with so many philosophy/history majors? I am sure we currently have sufficient number of such graduates.
The real challenge for India is to step these private "Bob" Institutes to something which is not just world class but world beating !
