on: BART to offer final rides on original equipment on April 20
Yes they'll unfortunately continue to run freight trains on those tracks. Also the corridor down to Gilroy from Tamien won't be electrified.

on: Baltimore's Key Bridge struck by cargo ship, collapses
"Permanently" what? the harbor will be cleared, probably sooner than later, and there will be a new bridge/tunnel built in a few years. Like that's not permanent.

on: Baltimore's Key Bridge struck by cargo ship, collapses
that collapsed almost 40 years ago, which really emphasizes it's flat out uncommon, no "buts" needed.

on: Why is it so hard to build an airport?
General aviation is in decline, so really there's no need to build new airports.

Canada is already a federal state with sub national entities that don’t have all the rights of the federal government. Pretty much any state that has a federal system already deals with this.,

Well, it is in distress because of their extreme fetish for austerity over a growing economy that is enabling the rise of the far right and Wagenknecht's socially conservative GDR vanity project.

PSR would like a word with your categorization. Indeed the Class 1s are the mortal enemy of decent intercity and commuter rail.

Obviously it’s not the first credible foray into HSR in the US-that honor is Acelas.
Edit: if you’re referring to Brightline West, construction hasn’t even started.

I assume they always kept it shitty as to not cannibalize VS Code, which does get a lot of use (obviously it's very popular). If you ever used it you'd see that it doesn't feel like normal Windows VS, and it doesn't really feel like a good native Mac app either.

Assuming you don't get caught, which if you keep on bank robbing probably increases the odds you do.
