> Tarantool is an open-source NoSQL database management system and Lua application server developed in my.com. The first version of Tarantool was released in 2008 and the newest version is 1.6.7.

> Through all tests we executed, Tarantool showed the best result for the count requests per second and for many of tests latency values on any type of examined workloads. Therefore, we can decide that for most of typical projects Tarantool suits them more that popular solutions such as Redis, CouchBase or Memcached. This is the basis of our decision to use Tarantool for our projects here at my.com.

So yeah. Obviously.

I'm gathering feedback for new project. I was so disapponted by current state of APIs for accessing Dropbox, Flickr and others that I decided to roll an aggregator.

You can't expose Dropbox/Flickr gallery on your static website, as you'd have to expose your private API key.

UPSTA would do that for you and just provide publicly consumable endpoint.

Would you consider paying for this service ?

What? Faster internet? Again? How 4G helped? 0. We need power efficient network, not faster one. It would be faster than what you get through fiber. Does that make sense? Shouldn't we focus on making the networks cheap, power efficient and with most possible coverage? This article screams bulshit to me.

1) Other devices don't see the files that are still being uploaded

2) Tried creating a folder, uploading 200 MB file in it and moving the folder to to local drive. Works as expected. After upload finished, the folder reappeared with the file in it.

So, the files waiting to be uploaded won't disappear.

So I just tried it. Uploaded 200 MB file through web. Checked that my MacBook shows the .icloud file. Moved whole folder with it. Was gone from the iCloud web BUT my laptop kept downloading it. Also it is in the Settings > Data & Security.

So. What is the fuzz?
