I agree with you. I was listening to piketty’s on Econ talk. He said that executives get paid much more than labours which is increasing inequality(sort of like this). So that’s was I was thinking if you can’t beat them join them. So it’s better for me to go to management or executive track from IC.

Here, water is in reference to commencement speech given by David Foster Wallace. From my understanding we have default assumption template which we use to construct meaning for situation happening in front of us. And water which is flowing around us(he gives eg of fish) which is real truth never gets generated from our templates.
