on: Writing a Programming Book in 2021
The author forgot to mention that Amazon kindle publishing take 70% out of your sale price :) Also, that when they print the books, the quality sucks - thick cheap printer paper, toner saver enabled. As a customer I have had very bad experience with books printed by Amazon.

on: The End of AMP
I have always detested AMP. But there was no other way around - if you wanted to appear in google results on top you had to use it.

on: Screw it, I’ll host it myself
Completely misleading title and this is basically an ad:
(* Links to Vultr contain my referral code, which means that if you choose to subscribe to Vultr after you clicked on that link, it will earn me a small commission.)
host yourself means - running on your own hardware

You don't have to be very smart to figure that out. I get sick only from the slightest smell coming out of those things.

on: Janet Yellen to call for global minimum corporate tax rate of 21%
This is not necessary. They only have to tax the parent company at 21% and any of it's subsidiaries. If on the other hand a company buys services from its subsidiaries located abroad, then impose a customs tax of 21% for any imports / exports.

350–530 kg Al would be needed per apartment. One question left unanswered is - how many cycles does this system support before it becomes substantially inefficient?

"We learn in school that a proton is a bundle of three elementary particles called quarks..." - do kids learn this in school nowadays? Because I don't remember learning that in school.

on: Making Games on Your Own as an Engineer
I haven't read the whole article, but making games on your own is really hard. You are either good designer, but bad programmer or the other way around so. I think the easiest if you are a programmer and know a little bit of Unreal or Unity, you should use free assets and not bother with creating assets as this will eat up all your time. It's better if you pair with someone.

Also, the same destination: Honolulu. And only 1 digit difference in registration number (N773UA in 2018 vs N772UA in 2021).
