Yes but it's a starting point. Conducting a generational study will take, well, generations, and that's too long. Unfortunately the longer term, multi generation study will have to be "done in production" so to speak.

It may work, it may not. But what we're (the US) doing now isn't working.

As us Alaskan's can attest, light can have a huge impact on general mood. Many of us suffer from "Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)", and purchase lights to combat it's effects.

This is the first I've heard of light being used as a more widespread treatment option. Very interesting.

Also the "Mandela Effect".

For example I, as well as many others on the Internet, remember the James Bond Semi-Villain Jaws's romantic interest as being a blond, pig tailed, bespectacled girl with a large smile and a mouth full of braces. We're sure she had braces, that was the whole joke! Turns out, no record of her having braces whatsoever.

Weird that a memory could permeate society like that.
