Interviews suck, as incidentally does most of higher education. They exist for very well-established reasons, though, and it might be a wiser idea to try to improve them incrementally than to self-ostracise by outright ignoring them.

If you want to fix fridges, that's perfectly fine, but at least try to understand why the people who build them might not be interested in hiring you.

I test-drove it for a while and it ended up replacing ST3 in my toolkit/workflow. Until I switch to vim completely, Atom is filling in the gaps quite well.

Btw: I really dig the smaller thumbnails, they make me feel I have a better overview over what's going on.
Edit: wait, that's just on the first page. Sigh. I don't really like large-ish thumbnails á la [0], especially in the retina age.
