I used to have a NeXTStep HP workstation back in the day. Worldcom had hundreds of them running custom network monitoring. I think we were one of,the biggest NeXT installations outside of the NSA.

Reminds me of a privacy training I had to do at Apple. They made a point in the invite to be on time because they had a lot to cover and lateness would not be tolerated. A VP rolled in 2 minutes late and tried the “do you know who I am” thing. The instructor basically said “I don’t care. You are late. Go away and reschedule for another time”. I loved that he could just shut down a VP like that.

I tried both for a while. I liked The Citymaper UI better, but Transit actually shows the live position of the bus. Transit wins. This is with VTA in Santa Clara, California.

Many people at Apple don’t have private offices today. I think this may only be true in some of the main IL buildings. I’ve been in open plan for two years now since moving to Sunnyvale and still dislike it.
