I think this is a good exercise for any programmer dealing with UI. At its core, React.js is quite simple, but seeing that such a system can be built on top of a well known platform like JavaScript is something that might not occur to everyone, even someone familiar with JavaScript.

Sorry, I don't mean autocomplete. I mean other editors that do not rely on a large number of keyboard shortcuts. I have never seen someone use vim quickly.

Hi. I've been looking for someone that uses vi seriously. I have struggled to use it quickly. Can you give me or do you know of a short screencast of someone using vi at their comfortable speed. I can't understand yet how it can be faster than autocomplete.

They are absolutely nothing like Hitler's. There was global political and economic turmoil at the time. No crisis, not even the financial troubles we are in currently compares to the state of Europe and the World at the time.

The institution of the US government is far more stable than the republic of Germany in 1936. The people were blind, but more importantly, they were desperate. The people of the US are not desperate.

It seems to be that people are reacting to a potential threat to an axiom of their's. That is: "Income inequality is bad because A,B,C, and should be prevented at all costs." I'm not saying no part of this is founded in reasoning and evidence, but you are right that the author does not actually respond to PG's sentiment. Rather, his reaction is automatic.

Also, it's rather eye-opening to note how other cultures thought. This is best done by examining their religion or some other foundation ideology like Buddhism.
