Still waiting for you to admit you were wrong. What's wrong with people like you who cannot admit they were wrong about something?

Take back your comment - you're wrong - just because someones work was secret, that doesn't mean their career should be ended.

What about Turing and all the other guys that have done and still do great work? Should we end their careers because some of their work is secret? That's just un-australian.

Ask them about Alan Truing - he kept his work secret so should have had his career ruined by the likes of you.

You're a terrible person - why call me out for being wrong, then when I show you that you are wrong, just vanish? That's un-australian.

Greed - there's no reason why Yahoo! cannot operate as a smaller but profitable business - it's never going to be the industry leader it once was but the fact it's still around after all these years is impressive in its own right - a new CEO needs to come onboard and give the company the respect it deserves by cutting a lot of staff, products and services and focus on a smaller set of services that drive a smaller profit.

That's a rather large downgrade to the previous accusations. From evil company to a company with no benefit to mankind. I think you can say that about a lot of peoples jobs - what's your point?

Curious to know what Palantir are doing that you have a such an issue with - surely they aren't committing genocide?

Professional tools cost money. How am I going to drive in nails without a good quality hammer?
If this becomes a good solid product - I would expect to be paying several hundred dollars.

Are you kidding? There are plenty of devs that build bootstrap front ends - if this makes life easier for them and saves time / effort, it's an easy decision to purchase this. There are other front end frameworks that with IDE's that people pay for too such as vaadin. You're probably not in the target audience for this.

What has that got to do with anything? If I see a game I want on Steam and I want it now, should I not buy it because it's not part of a sale?

No idea, I'm not in a position where I will be able to work from home regularly so I haven't looked into it.
Even the better tech companies (e.g. Atlassian) aren't keen on WFH.
