I pay for Youtube premium to not have to see ads and potentially be manipulated by them.

Yet I still have to watch a lot of ads there, since for a large chunk of content creators, the economic model of Youtube doesn’t seem to work and they additionally include inline ads.

Amazing how good eye tracking works on my phone (15 Pro).

Unfortunately, there seems to be no way to press buttons via blinking, only by "dwelling" on an item for a few seconds, which makes using my phone feel quite hectic and prone to to inadvertent inputs to me.

Man this is awesome.

I‘m using a somewhat similar stack for an app in development with a monorepo consisting of a Postgres backend (Rails) + Expo (with Router) + Tamagui + Redux Toolkit. And, as one would expect, it’s been quite a struggle, to say the least.

But currently this is one of the few viable stacks imo for a small team or sole developer to serve both native mobile platforms and the web in a decent quality.

So it’s kind of cool that with One there is now a framework available that brings all those great tools together in a polished and structured way.

Can’t wait to give it a try next week. Could make things a lot smoother.

I would recommend to consume only low THC + high CBD strains.(1)

For me the difference of these strains to some of the modern high THC + low CBD ones is comparable to drinking a good glass of wine versus chugging down some highly potent moonshine.

Some moderns strains are completely overbred and dangerous to some people in my experience.(2)

Knowing the Germans, I‘m optimistic, they‘ll regulate it properly, so that everything you will be able to buy legally, should be quite safe.

This is getting ridiculous imo.

I‘m sure some people find your breath and/or your body odor/perfume gross.

So should they be able to force you to wear a mask or keep a distance of say at least 6ft at all times?

Does that mean if my webapps get DOSed or something like that, and I can‘t react very quickly, I could face a bill potentially in the thousands of dollars?

Currently considering switching from Heroku, but fixed pricing is a must. I‘d rather they shut down my apps temporality in case something is out of control, then get broke ;-)

Any other recommendations besides fly.io?

I was in the same boat when I was younger. After upgrading to a (dumb) projector for movies and gaming (ex shooters), I can’t go back, since the immersion and amount of details I see on a big screen for me is just an order of magnitude better.

Maybe some use case for NFTs after all. Link the stuff you can get through playing a game or buy ingame for cash to a NFT and boom, players really own that stuff and are free to sell it on the secondary market.

I‘m neither pro nor against VIM or NeoVIM, but your comment is imo completely negative and not helpful at all.

I for one are glad for NeoVIM improving upon VIM and pointing out some weaknesses.

Since NeoVIM was released, Bram has been improving VIM much faster than before and even added features like async I/O support, that he previously rejected.
