on: Gmail marking email from me as spam
Honestly, running an E-Mail is so tedious that I just allow Migadu to manage it for me. You have to deal with configuration (as the original poster said) and run into issues with systems just blocking you outright (especially Outlook). There are some utilities or Docker images that make it easier, but in the end its not worth the hassle. I still think domain-based email is way better than allowing G-Mail or Outlook to host your email though.

on: LastPass Extension slows Chrome's responsiveness by up to 50%
It's very easy. BitWarden has this listed in their faq.
Simply just export LastPass to a CSV file and import it in BitWarden.

on: The ReMarkable Tablet: A Review
To each their own, I've found with my ereader that backlight (or are they frontlights?) are pointless. During the day, I always use no backlight and I find it easier on the eyes just to turn a lamp on at night.

on: From Mac to Linux – the setup I've grown to love
The problem I find with Arch Linux, and this really only has started happening recently, is that for some reason Arch loves to break stuff. My most unstable distribution had to do with Arch. I find that distros like Void and Alpine Linux offer more robust rolling release systems.

Even Samsung took away the headphone jack recently :(.
I might as well buy a classic iPod for music listening now-a-days.

on: US Navy will replace touchscreen with mechanical controls on its destroyers
Wouldn't a keyboard be considered a mechanical interface still since you have mechanical springs, switches that convert into a digital signal which is what is used for most games.

> Physical controls that have no physical state are the worst of both worlds.
This is so true.
I absolutely hate the AC knob in my car.
Apparantely, they thought it was good engineering to make it infinite.

on: The PGP Problem
Are we sure about this? When I downloaded my Google data, I fished around and found information related to my Amazon purchase history and etcetera. The only possible way that I can think of that Google is able to get my purchase data is from my email.

You can disable the new polymer layout for YouTube on Firefox using a console command. It brings back the old layout which is much faster and more functional.

I recommend Posteo.
They've been great to me so far. They are 12 euro a year and run on renewable energy plus have sane privacy standards. All payments are anonymous according to their website. But GPG will always be king for privacy.
